Dale L. Hardy, Registered Professional Land Surveyor, has practiced land surveying throughout the Houston - Galveston area since 1982 when he joined Hall-Johnson Surveyors as a Party Chief. Earning his Registration in January of 1990, Mr. Hardy established his private practice, DALE L. HARDY & ASSOCIATES, in League City in August of 1990. Incorporating the practice in 2001, GeoSurv, LLC, is a private practice land survey firm offering an extensive range of professional land survey services to its clients.
Since beginning the practice, the business philosophy has been to limit the geographic service area to Galveston County and adjacent areas (Chambers, Harris, Montgomery, Fort Bend and Brazoria Counties) while providing the highest quality of professional land survey services available. This philosophy has served the firm well as it has grown to be the largest private land survey practice in Galveston County.
As a result of the reputation which has been earned for quality professional service, Mr. Hardy is often called upon as a recognized expert in his field to address difficult survey projects, partitions of estates and survey conflicts by title companies, developers and the legal community. In his capacity as an expert, Mr. Hardy has provided investigative field surveys, written reports of findings, depositions and trial testimony for both plaintiffs and defendants.
Mr. Hardy is an active and recognized leader in both professional and civic organizations in his community. As a member of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors, Dale served as the Galveston County Representative for TSPS Gulf Coast Chapter during 1996-97 and as Director during 1997-98. Mr. Hardy served his community as Vice-Chair of the League City Planning Commission and later Planning and Zoning Commission from 1993 through 2000. He has served on Charter Revision Committees and numerous special committees to review and draft Ordinances for Subdivision Development, Commercial Development and Zoning for the City of League City. Mr. Hardy was elected Galveston County Surveyor in 1994 and served Galveston County in that capacity through 1998. As an active member of the League City Lions Club, Dale served as First Vice-President and Chairman of the 1999 League City Lions Club Village Fair & Music Festival. Dale was named Lion of the Year in 1999, served as Club President 1999 - 2000, and continues to serve on the Board of Directors. In 2001 he was named a Melvin Jones Fellow, the highest individual honor the Lions can bestow upon a member.
Dale earned his BBA from the University of North Texas. He and his wife Suesie have made their home in League City since 1982.
